Good Afternoon,

We recently have seen an increase in attempted thefts from vehicles in the Ashton area.

In order to deter potential thieves please;

Ensure your cars doors are always locked

Do not leave any items or valuables inside your vehicle

Try to park under a street light if possible

Try to park in an area with CCTV cameras

If you notice anything suspicious then please report this to the police via 101 or the online reporting form on the Lancashire Constabulary website.
